Email issues

To err is human but to really screw up try using a computer????

Since the web got infested with junk, spam and phishing expeditions our email has become a nightmare to wade through – and I’m sure you’re all nodding your heads in agreement?

It’s gone way past those invites from the princes in strange foreign countries, or the lost cousin who needs bail money – now we all have to be ultra careful not to just click on that email – even if it looks like it’s coming from someone we know!

To that end recently Google specifically have tightened the rules for sending and receiving email and it has complicated everyone’s email services – it has meant some of you may have been trying to contact me and haven’t heard a peep back! For which I say a sincere mea culpa but twasn’t my fault – really!

We are looking at several options to make this simpler and safer for all – so in the mean time please do NOT use my old address of dave [at] koberdecoys dot com – and just use our contact form on this site which goes to our web mail secure site please.

This is the only fishin’ we approve of!

Fall/Pre-Holiday’s Update from Dave’s Shop

Hi Folks,

I hope everyone had a great Summer, and here we are already in November! We had heavy rain and wind this past week and it sure wreaked havoc with the last of our Fall colors.

I’ve been enjoying going out behind our property where the Betsie River runs to watch 1,000’s of Salmon spawning. I still love to watch them and see some of their flight upstream, truly a sight to behold.

I’ve carved some BIG catch and release fish this Summer including an 8 lb 4 oz Smallmouth Bass and a 33 lb Upper Peninsula caught Musky. The hottest species being ordered so far this Fall is the Grayling as word is out they’re releasing thousands of hatchery babies into northern streams.

Christmas orders are already coming in strong but I’m not going to be able to do as many this year as I’m having trouble with this darn arthritis. If you are looking for anything in particular please let me know early.

All are always welcome here at my shop just 10 minutes from Crystal Mountain Resort. Just please give me a heads up before coming by as I spend much time in the woods or near the water.

Thank you all and tight lines!
