I guess all those years tagging along with me and Uncle Mike, listening to us spinning fish tales in the ice shanty, had to rub off on my son! Our family tradition has meant so much to me I was tickled pink when he not only wanted to learn decoy carving but showed a natural talent for it too. |

I look at his work today and I see Grandpa Ballard and Uncle Mike and a little bit of this old guy too - and I know the fourth generation is off and running keeping the Kober tradition alive and well. |
