Come and meet the
Dave Kober - Fish Decoys
I owe my skills as a decoy carver to over a hundred years of family tradition. I'd like you to meet them!
My Grandpa Lester Ballard passed away in 1956 - but whenever I pick up a piece of wood or set out across a frozen lake I can't help but remember him.
My Uncle Mike Ballard's style and love of decoy carving is his gift to me.
Every man should be so lucky as to have a son like mine. Travis is an accomplished decoy carver in his own right.
And me? Well I've been incredibly fortunate in my life and my family. My name is Dave Kober and some folks seem to think I carve pretty darn good stuff!
